Meet Wil

Hi, I'm Wil Anson, the founder of Apex Sports Camps.
As a high school teacher and lifelong sports enthusiast, I've seen firsthand the positive impact that sport can have on young people. Some of the most important lessons children learn, including confidence, resilience, teamwork and respect, often happen outside the classroom.
Growing up, I loved attending holiday sports camps. They gave me the opportunity to try different sports, make new friends and create memories that have stayed with me ever since. Those experiences inspired me to create Apex Sports Camps.
My goal is simple: to provide children with the same opportunities in a safe, welcoming and professionally run environment where every child feels encouraged to participate, regardless of their experience or ability.

At Apex, we focus on much more than sport. We want every child to leave having learned something new, built confidence and had an amazing time during their school holidays.

-Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
-Club Coach Merewether Women's Cricket Club
-Working With Children Check (NSW)
-Child Protection Awareness Induction Training
-Anaphylaxis Training (ASCIA)
-Cricket Umpiring Community Officiating Accreditation (Cricket NSW)
-Introduction to Coaching Accreditation (Cricket Australia - for school programs, community, junior cricket)
